Our school already follows a rigorous review process. Teachers only approve requests that are secular, educationally appropriate, and aligned to each student’s learning plan. Orders go through a second level of compliance review at the school level, and all vendors are screened. If vendors work directly with students, they must also complete fingerprinting and background checks. If this model is dismantled, students will lose access to valuable services, and the local vendor networks that support these programs will be severely impacted.
